A comprehensive diagnosis precedes admission. One of the biggest challenges of teen mental health treatment is correctly diagnosing patients’ unique set of symptoms to identify their individual needs. Symptoms are often mistaken as normal puberty mood and cognition changes.
That’s why our expert staff completes a three-step assessment and designs a program tailored specifically to each young person’s needs.
We use a broad range of modalities, including dialectical behavioral therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy in individual, group and family settings.
Aside from the clinical environment, alternative therapies such as art, yoga, equine therapy and music therapy through the Rock to Recovery program give additional therapeutic outlets via self-expression.
Addiction is a disease that manipulates a person’s sense of reward, motivation, memory and a number of related neurological functions.
