San Clemente, Calif. — Aug. 17, 2016 — For the third consecutive year, Sovereign Health has earned a spot on the 2016 Inc. 5000, Inc. Magazine’s list of America’s fastest-growing private companies. Sovereign is ranked at #535 on the 2016 list, placing the company in the top 11% of all companies on the list with a three-year sales growth rate of 721%. This represents a significant improvement from Sovereign’s 2015 ranking when the company was ranked at #1155, which placed the company in the top 23% of listed companies with a three-year sales growth rate of 365%. One factor considered by Inc. is domestic job growth. In 2015 Sovereign added 595 jobs, bringing the company’s total number of U.S. employees to 1,118. Sovereign also has more than 600 employees in the company’s two offices in India.
“We’re thrilled to have made the Inc. 5000 for the third year in a row,” said Dr. Tonmoy Sharma, Chief Executive Officer at Sovereign Health. “We believe one key element of our sustained growth is that Sovereign’s treatment facilities are licensed to provide both mental health and addiction/dual diagnosis treatment services. Our advanced diagnostic assessment processes, treatment of cognitive deficits, the utilization of cutting-edge technology and strong medical and clinical leadership have also been important factors in our growth. But what is most gratifying about our growth is that it has allowed Sovereign to reach and serve more patients and their families who are desperately in need of behavioral health services. While we’re pleased to once again be listed in the Inc. 5000, our top priority remains providing world-class behavioral health treatment services to as many patients and families as possible.”
Only a small percentage of companies make the prestigious Inc. 5000 list once; from that group, only a fraction of elite companies have earned a spot on this list three years in a row. By making the Inc. 5000 these past three years, Sovereign Health has joined an exclusive group of organizations in the United States to have earned such a distinguished designation. Other companies that have earned a spot on this esteemed list for three years in a row include Kareo, HCI Group, Expo Logic, and Bluware.
